Requirements to Operate as an E-Hailing Driver

To participate in the e-hailing industry, the following requirements must be met:

1. Valid Driver's Licence and PrDP

You must have a valid South African driver's licence accompanied by a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).

2. Background Check

A criminal background check is required. This can be completed at PostNet Uhuru.

3. Driver Evaluation (Uber Requirement)

For Uber registration, a driver evaluation must be completed at the following address: 12 Charles Crescent, Kramerville, Sandton. No booking is required, as the centre operates on a walk-in basis.
